Brogent Technologies Completes Acquisition of Flyover

(eap) The acquisition of the North American flying theater brand Flyover, formerly written as “FlyOver”, by Taiwanese ride systems manufacturer Brogent Technologies has now been completed. On 31 July 2026, Flyover announced the completion of the transaction, which had been announced earlier this year (see EAP news of 21 Jan 2026). The deal marks the beginning of a new corporate chapter for both Flyover and Brogent, bringing together creative development, operational expertise and technological capabilities under a unified organisational structure.

“Leading Flyover to this inflection point has been an incredibly meaningful and exciting journey, and I am intensely proud of what the Flyover team has created,” commented Lisa Adams, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Producer at Flyover. “As we step forward into this new chapter with Brogent Technologies, our creative vision, operational expertise, and storytelling capabilities, combined with Brogent’s technology platform and global infrastructure, position us to move faster, reach further, and continue creating the kinds of experiences that define what immersive entertainment can be. I’m motivated by the possibility of what we will create next.”

Chih-hung Ouyang, Chairman and CEO of Brogent Technologies, added: “[...] Flyover’s creative leadership and operational excellence, combined with Brogent’s engineering platform and global reach, form the foundation of something genuinely differentiated in the immersive entertainment industry. We look forward to what we will build together.”

The completion of the transaction follows a strong period for Flyover: According to the company, the flying theater chain welcomed more than 1.4 million guests over the past year across its locations in Vancouver, Canada (Flyover in Vancouver), Las Vegas (FlyOver Las Vegas), Chicago (Flyover Chicago) and Iceland (FlyOver Iceland, currently its only European location). With nine films in its content library and a growing slate of further productions in development, Flyover is now entering its next phase with the aim of bringing extraordinary places around the world to life for global audiences.

This is not Flyover’s first change of ownership: In 2016, US-based Viad Corp., through its then Travel & Recreation Group, acquired the FlyOver Canada business from Canada-based Soaring Attractions Limited Partnership and Flyover Canada Productions Inc. A few months later, Viad Corp. introduced the Pursuit umbrella brand, which also encompassed FlyOver. The former Viad Corp. now operates as Pursuit Attractions and Hospitality, Inc. and is listed on the New York Stock Exchange. ■
