Canada: Rabbids Amusement Center Opened in Montreal

Ubisoft®, a developer and publisher of computer games, recently opened its first Rabbids Amusement Center on Montreal’s West Island – a new family entertainment center featuring the „Rabbids“ video games brand (c.f. EAP news from May 9th, 2016).

The experience follows a story about the white rabbits, who repair an old submarine to get to the North Pole so they can be closer to the moon. To their surprise, the submarine starts to fly and when they let go of the controls and start playing tag with each other, it crashes in Montreal. Researchers begin observing these Rabbids and conclude that only children can understand their language and behavior …

So the amusement center especially invites kids to dip in the world of the crazy Rabbids. In a playful environment, Ubisoft® combines creativity, physical activity and modern VR technology, which includes smart bracelets, a pixel art wall and holograms among others. Furthermore, there are a climbing wall and a three-level submarine with obstacles and slides to be discovered by young guests as well as a water treatment plant with two ball pools. Meanwhile, parents can enjoy a large gastronomic offer in the dining area or arrange a birthday party in one of the themed rooms. (eap)
