China: Hong Kong Disneyland Reveals First Details on New Marvel-Themed Attraction
Recently, Hong Kong Disneyland (HKDL) has revealed first details on its new Marvel-themed attraction “Ant-Man and The Wasp: Nano Battle”, which is set to open in 2019 in its “Tomorrowland” theme area.
Located in the “SHIELD Science and Technology Pavilion” inside the “Stark Expo” building (also featuring the “Iron Man Experience” which opened in 2017, c.f. EAP news from January 11th, 2017), the interactive shooting experience will immerse visitors into a thrilling world at the side of Ant-Man and The Wasp to fight against their villain Zola and his robotic army.
More Marvel-themed attractions will be launched as part of the multi-year expansion of HKDL that extends through 2023 (c.f. our comprehensive “Disney report” in EAP, 3/18). (eap)
