Disney Adventure World: Details on Parade and New Attraction for 2027
From July 24, guests visiting Disney Adventure World will be able to enjoy “The Disney Princess Cavalcade”.
(eap) Just two weeks after the opening of Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris, further details on future offerings of the expanded park have been announced: According to this, the new parade “The Disney Princess Cavalcade” is set to complement the entertainment portfolio from July 24 onwards. Four Disney princesses – including “Moana” and “Raya” from the animated film “Raya and the Last Dragon” (2021) – will make their way through the park along Adventure Way.
As Matteo Borghi, one of the show’s directors, explains, “Françoise Baffioni and I were inspired by the idea of adventure as expressed at Disney Adventure World. There can be no true journey, quest or exploration unless you are firmly rooted in your community and culture. This approach is typical of Disney and that’s the spirit in which we imagined this story.”
The two directors have engaged intensively with the world of animated films and the traditions of the various countries represented to design the floats, costumes and choreographies – the latter created in collaboration with choreographer Cécile Chaduteau. The parade is set to begin at the entrance to the future “The Lion King” themed area and proceed up to “The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge” before returning to its starting point. On the way back, an interactive sequence is planned in which the princesses will engage with the audience. “It’s a way of bringing Adventure Way to life as a whole,” explains Françoise Baffioni. “All along the avenue that runs from World Premiere Plaza to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, you’ll find all kinds of entertainment.”

In addition, there is news for Pixar fans: The planned family attraction “Wilderness Explorers Sky Swings”, inspired by the film “Up”, is scheduled to open in 2027 on Adventure Way. The new ride will be a classic swing carousel, to be built opposite “Raiponce Tangled Spin”. The name of the attraction refers to the “Wilderness Explorers” club, of which the character “Russell” is a member. A total of 64 seats are planned, including several “duo” seats inviting guests to ride together.
More about Disney Adventure World with the new Adventure Way and Frozen-themed area will be featured in our next EAP issue 3/2026 (to be published on May 4). ■
