Disneyland Paris Celebrates First “Disney Music Festival”

(eap) Disneyland® Paris has launched a new event format, the “Disney Music Festival”, which has been entertaining guests with live music performances and character appearances since mid-April this year. The new festival is scheduled to run for a limited time until September 7, 2025 and is designed to enrich the visit to the theme park with a wide range of music entertainment.

“The Disney Music Festival is inspired by what makes music so powerful: its ability to unite all generations in a shared world of emotions,” emphasizes Matthieu Robin, Creative & Show Director at Disneyland Paris. “Just like at other music festivals, everyone can feel the beat of Disney and Pixar tunes – whether as a spectator or as a participant in this unique event where music becomes a universal language full of memories.”

As part of the festival, Disneyland Park is transformed into an open-air concert venue with several stages where different styles of music – from classical to pop, folk, rock and electronic sounds – are performed and Disney and Pixar characters appear in several shows and concerts dedicated to well-known songs from the animated films. For example, visitors can experience “Minnie’s Marching Band”, a twelve-piece band with percussion and brass instruments led by Minnie, or the “Disney Music Hits” concert, a live pop-rock show in the “Videopolis” theater. Each day ends with “The Grand Orchestra Finale” with 89 performers in a 20-minute show at the foot of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.

“Every performance at the Disney Music Festival is the result of a collaboration between the Disneyland Paris creative teams and live music professionals. They ensure that the emotional power of the stories from the timeless classics of Disney Animation and Pixar is fully brought to life,” says Guillaume Coignard, music producer at Disneyland Paris. “With the expertise of the Disneyland Paris music teams, the tracks are being rearranged to take guests on a journey like never before.” ■
