Dronisos Expands: Jeremy Pancoast New VP U.S. Business Development
(eap) The Bordeaux, France-based drone entertainment specialist Dronisos is expanding its U.S. team in Orlando, Florida, welcoming experienced technology executive Jeremy Pancoast as Vice President U.S. Business Development.
Pancoast brings more than two decades of leadership experience in the themed entertainment and live experience industries. At SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment (now United Parks & Resorts), he served among others as Entertainment Technical Manager and Production Supervisor before moving into a corresponding leadership role at LEGOLAND Florida Resort (Merlin Entertainments). After several years, he returned to the SeaWorld group as Director of Entertainment. Following another professional tenure at LEGOLAND, he was appointed Corporate Entertainment Director of LEGOLAND Parks North America. Since last year, he has led his own entertainment technology consultancy, Xtensia.
In his new role at Dronisos, he will be responsible for advancing the company’s growth strategy in the U.S. market, bringing the French provider’s drone technology to further leisure destinations and entertainment formats.
“Jeremy’s experience sits at the intersection of creativity, technology, and disciplined execution,” said CEO Laurent Perchais, adding that “Jeremy strengthens our ability to build long-term partnerships and support ambitious, large-scale projects.”
Pancoast commented: “I’m honored to join Dronisos at such a dynamic moment of innovative growth and business expansion. What excites me most is the company’s ability to combine high-quality, reliable aerial drone productions with a scalable technology ecosystem that can adapt to each partner’s vision.”
With the appointment of Jeremy Pancoast, the company continues its growth strategy in the North American market. More than 100,000 drone flights have been completed in over 25 countries since its launch in 2016. Since 2022, the provider has also served as the Official Technology Provider for Disneyland Paris, delivering nightly drone shows. All systems – from aerial drones, over water-based systems to swarm-piloting software – are developed in-house. ■
