Europa-Park Restructures Marketing & Communications
(eap) Ann-Kathrin Mack, managing partner of Europa-Park and architect, will be responsible not only for the company’s “Mack Solutions/Construction Management” division, but also for the newly restructured “Marketing & Communications” business unit. By consolidating these areas, the family company aims to strengthen its strategic focus on consistent brand management and clear positioning, as well as to further interlink spatial design with communicative staging.
The restructuring is intended to help further increase the visibility of the Europa-Park Erlebnis-Resort in international competition, develop new communication formats and intensify cooperation with media, partners and other stakeholders.
During the 128th General Assembly of the German National Tourist Board last week, Ann-Kathrin Mack was also appointed to the association’s 18-member Administrative Board. This is regarded as an expression of trust in the park’s expertise and is said to offer the opportunity to bring the perspectives of one of the most successful family businesses in the industry more effectively into the organization.
With the new structure at Europa-Park, Nicolas Mack will assume the position of Director of Marketing & Communications. Together with his deputy, Jonas Hemmerich, he will be responsible for the operational implementation of the company’s communication and marketing strategy. ■
