Europa-Park Welcomes Its 150 Millionth Visitor
(eap) Europa-Park in Rust yesterday welcomed its 150 millionth visitor in the park’s history, thus reaching another important milestone in the year of its 50th anniversary.
With golden and blue balloons and sparkling confetti, the Mack family, owners of the park, greeted the anniversary guests Michelle and Jochen Walser and their children Annalena and Samuel from Basel. “I have been coming here regularly since my childhood. Experiencing this moment today is simply incredible!” said 43-year-old Michelle Walser with delight.
To mark the special occasion, the family received an exclusive experience package including a personal welcome by the park mascots “Ed and Edda”, exclusive rides without waiting times, a lunch at the looping restaurant “FoodLoop”, and reserved seats for one of the park’s shows. As a special highlight, the family was also presented with a voucher for two nights at the on-site hotel resort, including admission to Europa-Park and the water world Rulantica.
“150 million visitors in 50 years – that is an incredible sign of trust,” said Roland Mack, founder and owner of Europa-Park. “From our first guests in 1975 until today, generations have experienced unforgettable moments with us. Being able to celebrate this success right in the middle of our HALLOWinter season once again underlines that Europa-Park has long become a year-round destination for families from all over the world.”
