European Showmen to Meet Up in Paris in 2027
(eap) From 18 to 19 January 2027, the European Showmen’s Union (ESU) will hold its 44th Congress in Paris. Together with the French showmen’s association Fédération des Forains de France, the ESU is inviting the European fairground industry to Les Pavillons de Bercy. The historic venue is also home to the world-renowned Musée des Arts Forains, which houses one of the largest collections of historic fairground rides and showmen’s art.
The privately operated museum will provide the setting for the reception on the first day of the event. The congress itself will take place on the second day. Further details of the conference programme will be announced at a later date. To conclude the event, participants will gather for a joint boat cruise on the River Seine, where they will have the opportunity to exchange ideas with industry colleagues and establish new international contacts.
The two-day event will bring together national showmen’s associations, industry experts and representatives from politics and business. The event’s focus will be on current challenges and future topics facing the European fairground industry. ■
