(eap) Extensive theming works for Six Flags Qiddiya City, a theme park being developed as part of Saudi Arabia’s “Vision 2030”, have now been completed by Scruffy Dog Creative Group, the British creative services company commissioned by Qiddiya Investment Company for this project. A comprehensive suite of static and animated props, engineered scenic elements and integrated mechanical features with animatronics, interactive set pieces and scenic centerpieces has been installed across the park’s lands.

Particular emphasis was reportedly placed on the technical implementation of the “Astrolabe” – a feature-grade, animated structure integrating motion, lighting, screens, and projection technology. The entire production process for the themed elements, overseen by Scruffy Dog, covered concept development, technical design, prototyping, logistics, and on-site installation.
Valley of Fortune
Six Flags Qiddiya City is considered one of the most ambitious theme park developments in the Middle East and is currently scheduled to open by the end of this year. Covering an area of approximately 32 hectares, the park will feature six themed zones and a total of 28 attractions. Among them is the “Falcon’s Flight” roller coaster, supplied by Intamin, which is being promoted as a new world-record-breaking ride with speeds of up to 250 km/h. Other confirmed attractions include the interactive dark ride “The Enchanted Greenhouse”, developed by Jora Vision, ETF Ride Systems, and Alterface, as well as “Into the Deep”, an interactive dark ride experience by Triotech. The overall leisure offering will be complemented by the adjacent Aquarabia water park, which is also under development and extensively equipped by WhiteWater West.
