Fetu Festival: Jaderpark Announces New Attraction for 2027

(eap) After the German Jaderpark in Lower Saxony only opened its latest attraction, “Torfschleuder”, a Wild Swing by ART Engineering, at the end of July, the park is continuing its development. Managing Director Andy Ludewigt has just announced another new attraction for the 2027 season on social media. Next year, the African-themed “Okavango Delta” area is set to be expanded with a partially covered family ride.
Under the name “Fetu Festival”, a Kontiki L by German manufacturer Zierer is planned to open next to the “Giraffenturm” (Engl.: Giraffe Tower). The ride features a gondola that swings back and forth along a 19-meter-long track while simultaneously rotating around its own axis. The rotational movement and swing height can be adjusted by the operator to suit the respective passenger group. The gondola will offer a total of 24 seats, including two special child seats, allowing young guests from a height of 90 centimeters to ride when accompanied by an adult.
The attraction’s name is inspired by the African Fetu Festival, which is celebrated by the chiefs and people of Cape Coast in the Central region of Ghana. Colorful decorations and African-inspired design elements are intended to bring the atmosphere of the festival to Jaderpark. ■
