Fort Fun Repossessed by Compagnie des Alpes

After extensive investigations have been initiated by the police against the buyer of Fort Fun Abenteuerland (we reported on January 30, 2012), the former owner of Fort Fun, Compagnie des Alpes (CdA), revoked share transfer for the sale of Fort Fun (purchase sum: 5.75 million Euros) yesterday.

In order to protect its own interests on a precautionary basis, CdA has sent the responsible purchaser (the German One World Group) a declaration of revocation – specific to German law – of the share transfer executed at the time of the transaction. “Fort Fun will be reincorporated into the Group’s scope of consolidation as of today …”. As spokeswoman of Fort Fun, Christine Schütte, explained to EAP Magazine, the staff of Fort Fun “is glad that the whole misery has been ended rather quickly by CdA, their old and new ‘mother’. Now everybody will do his best in order to be able to offer fun and entertainment to the guests in time for the beginning of the new season.” (eap)
