Germany: Dutch Arcade Game Operator Gamestate to Enhance Leisure Offer at Westfield Centro

Auch in der Westfield Mall of the Netherlands gibt es bereits eine Gamestate-Arcade-Spielhalle.

Next Thursday (30 September), the Dutch arcade game operator Gamestate will open its first branch in Germany on an area of more than 700 square meters at Westfield Centro. From then on, visitors will be able to put their gaming and virtual technology skills to the test at over 45 arcade stations. Well-known classic games such as “Mario Kart”, “Pacman”, “Airhockey” and “Basketball”, but also current VR trend games such as “Beat Saber” will be part of the gaming offer. With eight branches in the Netherlands, Gamestate is already present in major cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam and The Hague.

The Dutch company is part of the Veltmeijer Group, which counts more than 40 arcade gaming locations and can look back on more than 60 years of experience in this entertainment segment. Thursday will also mark the already announced official rebranding of the shopping and experience center, which now belongs to Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) and was formerly known as Centro Oberhausen.
