Germany: KristallTurm Adds New Elements to High Ropes Course

Germany’s KristallTurm company, which is headquartered in the Bavarian town of Lenggries, recently added two new elements to expand its high ropes course portfolio – “ZipCorner” and a stainless steel slide can now be added to the ice crystal-shaped high ropes course, named KristallTurm®. ZipCorner is a variation of a classic zip line, developed in cooperation with Cambium: Guests are secured by a steel cable and instead of sliding down they “fly” around the high ropes course.

The track can be chosen individually by the operator, it is also possible to add further supports to lead guests away from the ropes course and back again. A stoplight system guarantees security on ZipCorner. Furthermore, a tube slide can now be added to the climbing experience, supplied by Wiegand Slides as a black or transparent tube slide. To enable climbers to use the slide wearing their security equipment, they can make use of sliding mats to protect the slide from damage.
