Germany: New “Power2Change” Exhibition at Klimahaus Bremerhaven

Today, Klimahaus Bremerhaven opens the new “Power2Change - Mission Energy Turnaround” exhibition, which deals with the challenges and opportunities of a climate-neutral future and can be seen in Bremerhaven until June 18 this year. The traveling exhibition is divided into the four thematic areas: “Networking”, “Distributing”, “Recycling” and “Transforming”, focused on renewable energies, energy distribution by industry, the recycling of raw materials and climate-neutral transport. “We are very pleased that the Power2Change exhibition can now be seen at Klimahaus Bremerhaven from January 18 and that we can give visitors exciting insights into technologies and solutions for the energy transition. At Klimahaus, we are showing that the climate crisis is one of the most urgent and biggest challenges of our time. We have to implement the energy turnaround together; this is the only way we will still be able to achieve our climate goals,” announces Arne Dunker, Managing Partner of Klimahaus Betriebsgesellschaft.

Bremerhaven’s  Klimahaus is one of the most visited experience museums in Germany. Among other things, visitors can feel the different climates of deserts, tropical rainforests and the Antarctic here. Current and future topics such as the energy transition are also part of the permanent exhibition at Klimahaus, but are now given even more space. The traveling exhibition was developed in the joint project “Science Communication Energy Transition”, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research. Partners from scientific research, the museum sector and science communication were involved. Prior to its stop in Bremerhaven, the exhibition could already be seen in Hattingen and will be hosted in five other locations in Germany after June 18 until the end of 2024. (eap)
