Germany: Therme Sinsheim Reopens to Visitors As of Today

After being closed for around eight months, Therme Sinsheim, operated by the Thermegruppe Josef Wund, is reopening its bathing and sauna facilities as well as the sports pool to visitors. As last year, guests have to make a reservation with the online reservation system for either the “day“ (8 am to 4 pm) or “evening“ (5 pm to 11 pm) time slot. During the one-hour break, additional disinfection and cleaning measures take place in the entire facility. With the reservation, guests are also assigned a fixed recliner place.

During its closing time, Therme Sinsheim not only adapted the hygiene concept, but also developed the new “Therme-App“. Also new: the “Freya“ sauna boat. According to the operator, this is the “world‘s first independently floating sauna boat“, which was designed and built together with the Schiffswerft Kiebitzberg (Kiebitzberg shipyard). The 12-metre-long sauna boat accommodates up to 25 people, who can enjoy a fumigate ceremony with a view of the Kraichgau during the 15-minute trip. (eap)
