Germany: faszinatour Celebrates its 30th Anniversary and Expands Management

The German company faszinatour based in the Bavarian Allgaeu region and specialized in the field of outdoor activities celebrates its 30^th anniversary this year. Established in 1986, faszinatour initially started offering touristic outdoor activities such as rafting and canyoning, which still play an important role in the company’s portfolio. However, its core business has shifted to the B2B sector, in which faszinatour offers team and leadership training programs based on the experiential learning method. The spectrum ranges from consulting in change processes, employer branding, team and leadership trainings, qualification programs and measures in corporate social responsibility.

To ensure future growth, faszinatour appointed Inke Scholz and Jörg Janzen, two long-standing department heads and both with more than 20 years’ experience in the company, to its management. Together with Management Partner Werner Vetter and Authorized Officer Stefan Wendel they will lead the 20-person team in Immenstadt. Charly Siegl, a long-time member of the Executive Board, will leave the company to devote himself to new challenges. Besides “consulting, training and events” business, faszinatour is one of the European leading providers of high ropes courses, climbing forests, zip lines, playgrounds and SkyTrails^® (cf.
