Hersheypark Opens New Thrill Attraction “Twizzlers Twisted Gravity”

(eap) The American Hersheypark in Hershey, Pennsylvania, opened a new thrill attraction last weekend with “Twizzlers Twisted Gravity”. The “Screamin’ Swing” ride from S&S Worldwide swings guests to heights of up to 137 feet (approx. 42 meters). According to the park, this is currently the highest version of this ride in the world. Furthermore, the attraction reaches a speed of 68 miles per hour (almost 110 kilometres per hour) and includes several zero G moments. Visitors from a height of 48 inches (1.20 meters) are allowed to ride.

The design of the attraction was inspired by the Hershey confectionery brand Twizzlers. In keeping with this, there are various Twizzlers-themed offers in the park. These include various F&B offers such as the “Twisted Strawberry King Size Shake” or a Twizzlers-themed fries’ menu. There is also matching merchandise, a photo opportunity with the “Twizz” mascot and the “Twizzlers Twist Challenge” game. ■
