(eap) Holiday Park Germany in Haßloch (Rhineland-Palatinate) has announced the construction of a new themed area. Next to the “Expedition GeForce” Intamin roller coaster, a new adventure world based on the well-known children TV series “Blinky Bill” is being created. The first construction phase with two new attractions is scheduled to be completed this summer. In “Blinky’s Seifenkiste” – a “Speedway” attraction from Italian manufacturer Zamperla – young visitors can embark on a wild tour through the Australian outback. In addition, another family attraction, a “Crazy Bus” (also from Zamperla), is making its way into the park under the name of “Greenville Bus”. The completion of a third attraction and the theming of the realm is planned for 2025.

“We want to make the area around the world-famous bigFM Expedition GeForce roller coaster more versatile and, with Blinky Bill and the planned new features, create an offer for the whole family in this part of the park,” explains Bernd Beitz, Director Germany of Holiday Park operator Plopsa. “While roller coaster fans experience the unique ride experience on the Mega Coaster, the rest of the family will be able to enjoy exciting adventures in Greenville Town.”

The new family attractions are the first investments as part of the new 80-million-euro master plan, which includes a “Tomorrowland” themed area with a major attraction and a “Smurfs” themed ride as well as a water park in the municipality of Hassloch.
