Hot Beach Olímpia to Open Brazil’s First Dueling Water Coaster

(eap) Hot Beach Olímpia, a water park located within a resort complex in Olímpia (São Paulo state, Brazil), is set to launch the country’s first Dueling Water Coaster. The new attraction, scheduled for opening in 2027, will be supplied by Canadian manufacturer ProSlide.

Commissioned by Hot Beach Parques & Resorts, the water coaster will form the centrepiece of the park’s largest expansion to date. The water park is open to both hotel guests and day visitors. The “Dueling RocketBLAST” will feature two parallel tracks, allowing guests to race against each other. A defining characteristic of this attraction type is its powered uphill sections, which add an extra dynamic element to the ride experience. Both tracks will also feature a “FlyingSAUCER 20” element and a helix-shaped “HIVE 20” section. The new attraction is also set to make a visual impact, with its vibrant colour scheme inspired by “the energy and adventurous spirit of Brazilian culture”, according to ProSlide.

With this project, ProSlide is further expanding its presence in Latin America, “in one of the region’s most dynamic tourism markets”. ■
