Hungary: New Madame Tussauds Location to Open in Budapest Early 2022

Today, Merlin Entertainments (Merlin) announced the development of a new Madame Tussauds wax figure attraction destination in Hungary’s capital Budapest, which is scheduled to open in early 2022. The new attraction will be the first full-scale franchise of the brand, based on an agreement between brand owner Merlin and Dorottya Experience Kft. On a groundspace of approx. 2,000 square metres, visitors will be able to get close to prominent people such as music legends, heroes of sport and world leaders. Madame Tussauds Budapest will also display Hungarian popular personalities such as musicians, artists, athletes and other public persons.
