IAAPA Expo Europe 2020 in London Cancelled

As the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) has just announced, the IEE scheduled for 22-24 September in London will not take place this year. The industry association has decided to take this step after lengthy deliberations and thorough consideration of all factors, as it is not yet possible to foresee how the Covid 19 pandemic will develop and what possible distortions and difficulties, particularly in international travel and freight traffic, will be associated with it in the coming months. A special FAQ catalogue is available now online for all IAAPA members and exhibitors to cover all organizational questions.

The IAAPA organizers are working flat out to reorganize future Expo Europe plans. One thing is certain, however: the next European Expo is scheduled to take place in Barcelona from 28-30 September 2021.

"… we are disappointed that we are unable to host the Expo this September," said Jakob Wahl, executive director and vice president, IAAPA EMEA. "The IAAPA EMEA team is now focused on plans for new and exciting in-person events at a later date that will once again connect our community." (eap)
