IAAPA Individual Achievement Award Winners Announced

(eap) The IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) has announced the winners of this year’s “Individual Achievement Awards” (IAAPA Service Awards & Young Professional Awards) and the new members of the “IAAPA Hall of Fame” for outstanding service and achievements in the leisure and attractions industry.

The IAAPA Hall of Fame honorees include August Busch III, Busch Entertainment Corporation; Gordon, Maggie and Morgan Hartman (Morgan’s Wonderland) and Barnette Ricci, The Walt Disney Company.

The Service Award recipients are Randy Josselyn, ICON Experiences (Service to IAAPA Award), Erik Beard, International Ride Training (Service to the Industry Award) and Patrick Hoffman, The Hoffman Group (Lifetime Service Award).

A Young Professional of the Year Award goes to Frank Hamedl (Fun Spot America), Sebastian Ludwig (Europa-Park), Rhys Wachter (DRA Safety) and Samantha Chamorro (La Granja Villa).

The winners of the Brass Ring Awards were traditionally announced last November during the IAAPA Expo 2023 (read our EAP news from 23 Nov 2023 here). All award winners will be celebrated at the official awards ceremony on 3 March 2024 at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada. ■
