Insights into Live Entertainment: IST University Invites to Webinar

(eap) The IST University of Applied Sciences, based in Düsseldorf, Germany, is offering a free webinar on the topic of live entertainment on Tuesday, 20 January 2026 (6:00 - 7:30 p.m.). Under the title “From Plan to Stage – How Concert Promoters Work”, concert promoter and agency managing director Rouven Bönisch will provide practice-oriented insights into the world of German live entertainment. Bönisch is managing director of the Berlin-based concert agency RBK Fusion (among others Lenny Kravitz, ZZ Top, John Legend) and responsible booker at Selective Artists (among others Jeremias, Glasperlenspiel, RIAN).

The webinar will focus, among other things, on the structures and processes of the German concert market, the specific tasks of a concert agency, the path from the initial idea to the final show, as well as current trends and challenges in the industry. In addition, Bönisch will share personal experiences and best practices from real projects. The webinar is therefore aimed at anyone interested in event and concert management, live communication and career paths in the entertainment industry – both newcomers seeking initial insights and industry professionals looking to deepen their expertise. ■
