The extension is intended to transform the existing site into a modern corporate campus featuring additional office and meeting spaces. According to the company, this development responds to continuous growth over the past 25 years and aims to ensure that the company’s infrastructure remains future-proof.

The resulting surplus energy could then be used to power existing facilities on site. The construction will primarily use locally sourced timber, supplied by a long-standing partner with whom Intamin has already collaborated on several wooden coaster projects.

In addition to new workspaces, plans also include a central cafeteria with a terrace, offering employees a view of the surrounding Alpine landscape. A particular architectural highlight will be the so-called “Skyway”, a connection between the new and existing building complexes that will incorporate a real roller coaster track as its structural element. ■
