Interim Results: O’Gliss Park Records Growth in Visitors
(eap) O’Gliss Park, located in Vendée, has reported positive interim results for the current season. In the first half of its season, which began on June 21 and runs until September 7, the French water park recorded a 15 percent increase compared to the same period last year. The park in western France attributes this success to the exceptionally good summer weather and the fame it has achieved through European and international awards for its “Stingray” slide, which opened in 2024 (see EAP 5/2024). In 2024, the water park welcomed a total of 250,000 visitors.
In addition to this, the Oceano Loisirs group, owner of the park, reports a record occupancy of 60 percent for its Western-style accommodation offering, known as O’Tel Park, this summer – also an increase over the previous year, with weekends fully booked until the end of August. The opening of the all-new “O’Ranch” restaurant in the associated O’Fun Park and a series of free concerts also seem to be bearing fruit – the third leisure offering in the group is reporting an upswing with steadily increasing visitor numbers. ■
