(eap) This year, the German Wild- & Freizeitpark Klotten – “Klotti Park” for short – is extending its amusement park season until mid-November and will reopen its gates immediately afterwards for a winter operation of the wildlife park section. From November 22, visitors will be able to experience animals and nature there even during the colder months. The last time Klotti Park opened for winter operations was about 30 years ago.
“We want to show that Klotti is also an experience in winter – nature, animals and adventure are in season all year round,” explains Managing Director Pia Hennes. With this step, the park aims to further develop its long-term strategy while also responding to the growing demand from guests for a winter offering.

While the rides will go into hibernation, the animal enclosures, playgrounds and restaurants will remain open. In addition, a daily bird of prey show is planned. The winter operation, which is scheduled to run on weekends and during the school holidays until January 7, has been prepared in close coordination with the local municipalities and associations.
“We want to make the park even more attractive for the local community as well as for guests of the Moselle region – and that throughout the entire year,” Hennes concludes. ■
