(eap) An elegant ambience, refined cuisine and musical accompaniment: Visitors to the French theme park Puy du Fou can now enjoy French haute cuisine at the new gourmet restaurant “L’Auberge”. The venue was officially inaugurated yesterday – in the presence of Park President Nicolas de Villiers and Michelin-starred chef Alexandre Couillon, who personally attended the opening – in the heart of the park’s historic village of Chasseloup.
Couillon – whose fish restaurant “La Marine” on the island of Noirmoutier, also located in the Vendée region, was awarded three stars by the Michelin Guide in 2023, is responsible for the menu. His gourmet cuisine focuses on regional ingredients, short supply chains and French gastronomic tradition. The menus are based on the seasonal availability of products to keep the environmental impact low.
“L’Auberge” can accommodate up to 25 guests. Reservations for the culinary experience can be made from Wednesday evening through Sunday noon, no later than 72 hours before the planned visit. Prices start at 69 euros for the adult menu and 19.50 euros for the children’s menu. ■
