LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort Presents 2021 Novelties

Guests have been able to experience LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort, located in Günzburg, Bavaria, again since 10 June after around 220 days of closure. Yesterday, during a hybrid press conference, Managing Director Manuela Stone (photo left) officially presented the new attractions for the 2021 season. These include the new 4D movie experience “LEGO Mythica“ at the “LEGO Studios“. The story also continues outside the cinema screens. Guests can go on the search for the mythical creatures in the park and “bring them to life“ through a digital feature in the LEGOLAND app on their mobile phones.

This year‘s tenth anniversary of the “LEGO Ninjago“ product line prompted the LEGOLAND Resort to launch a new multimedia summer show, which will be on display in the “LEGO Arena“ in July and August. Visitors can also learn six different ninja moves during the “Ninja Mission” using AR technology. Also new in the park: the creative building experience area “Rebuild the World – Planet LEGOLAND“, where children and parents can be as creative as they want to be with the colourful sticky bricks at five differently themed building tables.

“We are delighted to be able to offer our guests a great, colourful programme again this year. There are highlights in every month that will provide our visitors with many unforgettable hours together. Especially the combination of the virtual world and the LEGO Mythica and LEGO NINJAGO themes takes the experience in the park to a whole new level,“ Stone explains. “LEGOLAND brings our popular LEGO themes to life. Kids go on an adventure with their parents and meet their nursery heroes. This is not only fun, but also inspires and awakens creativity. That is why I think the new Planet LEGOLAND creative centre is particularly successful, because families can build creatively together and then place their models on a giant LEGO globe, helping to reshape the world,“ adds Karen Pascha-Gladyshev (photo right), Managing Director of LEGO GmbH for the DACH region.
