Legoland Malaysia Now Open!

Legoland Malaysia, the world’s sixth Lego Park, has been opened just in time last Saturday. Local as well as international visitors can spend a day full of family fun in Asia’s first Lego Park, which caters to families with children between the ages of two to twelve. The about 30 hectare large park opened in the heart of the leisure development region Iskandar Malaysia. Forty exciting interactive rides, shows and attractions have been created to be enjoyed by adults and children together. Siegfried Boerst (pictured), General Manager of Legoland Malaysia, said: “Legoland Malaysia has been designed to include the most popular rides and attractions from Legoland Parks around the world. It is a truly world class experience. But it is also tailored to the local environment. Everything from food to landscaping caters to the local tastes and climate. September 15 is a landmark day for everyone who’s worked to make Legoland possible here in Malaysia.” More about this new Lego Park can be found within the cover story of our latest magazine issue EAP 5/2012 as well.
