Mark Haak Wegmann Appointed New CEO of Tarfeeh Fakieh Group

(eap) Mark Haak Wegmann (photo) was recently appointed as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Tarfeeh Fakieh Group. The Jeddah-based Saudi-Arabian company, active in the kingdom’s tourism and entertainment sector, aims to initiate the next chapter of its development by appointing an internationally experienced executive from the leisure and tourism industry to lead the group. Wegmann brings more than 30 years of professional experience and has held various senior management positions at different companies on a global level throughout his career.

In his new role, Mark Wegmann is expected to drive innovation and growth within the company and to support the creation of new experiences in the fields of tourism and entertainment in the Saudi market. Most recently, Wegmann served as CEO of EMAAR Entertainment in Dubai, a business division of the real estate developer EMAAR. He continues to serve as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Center Parcs Europe. ■
