Michael Pharr Is Rethink’s First COO


Rethink Leisure & Entertainment, a California-based design agency specializing in themed entertainment, announced that Michael Pharr (photo) has joined Rethink as the company’s first-ever Chief Operating Officer. As of now, Pharr is in charge of the daily operations of the company, including internal project cost and budget management, and scheduling. Pharr started his career in the themed entertainment industry more than 30 years ago. Since then he has held different positions at companies including World Disney World, Buena Vista Construction Company and Universal Islands of Adventure. In the course of his career he realized projects for LEGOLAND® Theme Parks, Universal Studios, Paramount Parks, SeaWorld Orlando and further companies. Before joining Rethink, Pharr led the estimating team at McGillivray Consulting Group, a subsidiary of Nassal Company. In this position he successfully worked on themed entertainment projects around the globe. Pharr enjoys an international reputation for solid cost planning. “In previous roles, he has worked on some of the most demanding international projects imaginable, and he will invoke that expertise here at Rethink for our clients,” Scott Ault, President and CEO of Rethink comments.
