(eap) After a construction period of 24 months, a new dining option opened this July at the Vital Hotel at the Westfalen Therme in Bad Lippspringe (North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany). With the “GARDEN Restaurant & Lounge”, the four-star superior hotel now offers a modern, versatile dining concept that is open not only to hotel guests but also to day visitors.

For the multi-phase redesign, which took place while the hotel remained open, the former “Palm Restaurant” was gutted down to its shell and completely rebuilt. Guests can enjoy a modern, natural environment with urban flair and fresh, seasonal cuisine. The adjoining room, previously used as an event hall, has been transformed into the new “GARDEN Bar & Lounge” with an adjoining terrace. There, guests can enjoy spacious relaxation areas, an integrated children’s play corner and a modern “workation” area for mobile working throughout the day. The bar has been equipped with an innovative cocktail machine that conjures up perfect drinks at the touch of a button. The measures in the restaurant area have doubled the total number of seats.

In addition to the restaurant update, 42 rooms at the Vital Hotel also underwent a comprehensive redesign. Under the motto “New design. New balance. Same feel-good character”, the hotel’s so-called Balance Rooms were redesigned and refurnished in-house – from high-quality beds and modern floor coverings to individually tailored furniture and stylish decorative elements.

“The project was a huge undertaking – but one that was more than worth it,” says Robin F. Stork, Managing Director of the Vital Hotel & Westfalen Therme Wellness Resort. “The new sense of space, the interplay of design and functionality, strikes exactly the right note with our guests and reflects the continuous design development that we have already implemented in the WALDGarten and the Garden Restaurant.”

The operator spent a total of two million euros on the redesign of the restaurant and hotel.
