Netherlands: Efteling Hotel Receives Make-Over

The Efteling Hotel, which has been part of the Efteling theme park resort, since 1992 and offers 450 beds, will now receive a complete make-over. Between January 4th and March 8th, 2021 a total of 98 comfort suites and four junior suites will receive a refurbishment. The theming, the furnishing and the sanitary facilities will be completely replaced. Additionally, two new junior suites will be developed and the halls as well as the elevators will be overhauled.

“Now is the time for a complete re-design, which includes the sanitary facilities. With the planned adaption we make sure to keep our quality standards,“ explains Nicole Scheffers, Director Hotel & Resorts at Efteling, and adds: “Sustainability is a theme at hearts to us, so it was important to us to give our furnishment a second life. We will donate it to a voluntarily operated second hand shop in the city of Loon op Zand, where Efteling is located.“ (eap)
