Netherlands: New Visitor Record at Toverland

Yesterday, August 5, a new visitor record was set at Dutch Toverland amusement park, located close to Venlo. In total, a number of 11,000 guests, including 3,000 German visitors, spent their day in the park. Around 4 pm, the park management decided to advice further guests not to enter the park as at that time a high number of people already stayed in the amusement park. “Guaranteeing a high quality for our guests is our main priority. Our aim is to offer each visitor a magic experience,” the park management explains its decision. The management names the good weather, the holidays and the fourth “Mindsummer Eve” as reasons for the high attendance figures. This year, Toverland organizes eight Midsummer Eves which offer live entertainment, music and dancing possibilities. (eap)
