(eap) Olympic Park Munich has expanded its leisure offering with a new attraction: Since last Saturday, visitors have been able to experience the “SAYAQ Adventure Tower” – a high ropes course by the Bavarian company KristallTurm®.

Olympic Park Munich, host of the 1972 Summer Olympic Games, today serves as a versatile leisure and event destination for both tourists and locals. In addition to recreational and cultural offerings, SAYAQ Adventures operates various outdoor experiences on site, including the “Flying Fox” zipline, the roof climb tour over the Olympic Stadium, and SUP courses. As part of the ongoing renovation works at the Olympic Stadium, the Flying Fox and roof climb tour are currently suspended. The new high ropes course is intended to serve as an alternative experience during this period.

The installation is the “KT-7” model by KristallTurm, featuring a height of approximately 22 meters and a total of three levels. On the top level, climbers are offered views over the Olympic Stadium on one side and the Olympic Lake and TV tower on the other. In total, 36 climbing elements with varying levels of difficulty are available. For an additional adrenaline kick, a descent station allows participants to abseil from a height of 18 meters to the ground. At the end of April, the tower will also be complemented by an observation platform covering around 170 square meters, designed to accommodate up to 80 people and promising impressive views of the Olympic Stadium.

“As a company from Lenggries, we are particularly pleased to have realized a project virtually right on our doorstep – and in such a unique location at Olympic Park Munich!”, explains Michael Haller, Managing Director of KristallTurm. ■
