(eap) On Saturday, Schwaben Park in Germany (located an hour’s drive from Stuttgart) officially opened its new family attraction “Turbo Tonis Wäscheschleuder” (Engl.: roughly “Toni’s Clothes Spinner”). The Wild Swing ride from German manufacturer ART Engineering is also geared towards younger park guests. “Families with younger children in particular are looking for attractions they can experience together. With Turbo Tonis Wäscheschleuder, we are meeting exactly this demand. The fact that children as young as three can ride together with their parents makes the swing something very special. It is important to us that even our youngest visitors can already experience a lot at our park. This is why we are specifically expanding our offering for children aged three and over with this new attraction,” said Managing Director André Hudelmaier.

The freely swinging gondola of the twelve-metre-high giant swing seats 16 people and does not feature any inversions. In addition to the minimum age of three years, children must be at least 90 centimeters tall to ride. The design of the swing is modelled on a historic washtub. Thematically staged special effects complement the dynamic ride experience. The concept follows its own storyline: the tumble dryer invented by “Turbo Toni the raccoon” has spun out of control. A soundtrack composed especially for the attraction by IMAscore accompanies the attraction’s story.
For guests of the adjacent Schwaben Resort Ebnisee, which comprises two hotels as well as various restaurant and event areas, the new grill house “BRUZZLEREI” adds a new culinary offering. Steaks, burgers, schnitzel and other grilled dishes are among the main items on the menu. In addition, the opening hours of the existing pizzeria “Minuti a Napoli” have been extended, meaning that it is now open daily. ■
