New Water Attraction for Hot Days at Erlebnispark Schloss Thurn

(eap) Germany’s Erlebnispark Schloss Thurn in Heroldsbach, Bavaria, has expanded its offering just in time for summer with a refreshing new attraction. With the “Fontänenflitzer” (Engl.: roughly “Fountain Dasher”), the park now offers visitors a new way to cool off on warm summer days. The attraction is a PlayFountain installation designed to combine movement, play and refreshment.

On the new water play area, guests can dodge, dash through and playfully explore more than 1,000 bubbling water fountains. The installation is aimed at both young and young-at-heart visitors and complements the park’s existing family offering.

In addition to various rides and playgrounds, the amusement park’s offering also includes live shows, spacious green areas, an animal park and seasonal events. Last year, the park also opened its first overnight accommodation offer, a holiday facility comprising a glamping park and caravaning site. ■
