(eap) Just in time for the current warm summer weather, the new water playground at Freizeitpark Schloss Beck leisure park will enter soft opening tomorrow, 4 July. Numerous play and water elements will invite guests to splash around, climb and explore. Highlights include a water slide at the mill wheel, a watercourse with pumping stations and various interactive splash elements. Rotating channels, tipping buckets, frog cannons and many small surprises are set to provide fun and refreshment for water lovers of all ages. The new attraction was created in collaboration with the themed play equipment manufacturer Kinderland Parks.

“When planning the water playground, we attached great importance to ensuring that our guests can interact with all the play elements. Using pumps, turntables or buttons, various splash effects can be triggered. This creates numerous opportunities to cool down in the hot weather,” says Katharina Graveland-Kuchenbäcker, Managing Director of the amusement park. “We are really looking forward to finally being able to open the new playground to our guests!”

With an investment of around two million euros, the new water playground is one of the largest investments made by the German amusement park in recent years. “The new water playground perfectly complements our existing range of play and climbing opportunities. In recent years, many guests have asked for more opportunities to splash around and cool down. With this, we have responded to that feedback,” adds Graveland-Kuchenbäcker.

While guests will already be able to test the water playground as of tomorrow, the official opening is scheduled for 16 July. ■
