New Water Slides for Germany’s Rhein-Main-Therme

New Water Slides for Germany’s Rhein-Main-Therme

For a quarter of a century, the two slides have stood for family fun at Rhein-Main-Therme – now they are receiving a contemporary upgrade.

(eap) Rhein-Main-Therme in Hofheim near Frankfurt, Germany, is investing more than two million euros in the modernisation of its slide tower in time for its 25th anniversary this year. Two modern adventure slides with thermally insulated tubes and interactive multimedia effects will replace the existing attractions, which are almost 25 years old. The slide tower itself is also to be extensively renovated as part of the modernization project.

Construction work began on 13 April 2026, immediately after the Easter holidays. The new slides are being supplied and installed by Aquarena, while the renovation of the slide tower is being carried out by the thermal spa’s in-house technical team. The reopening of the new attractions is planned for 20 June 2026 as part of a “First Slider Event”, during which selected guests will be able to test the slides for the first time.

“With this investment, we are adding a new highlight for our guests and underlining our ambition to remain one of Germany’s leading leisure and wellness destinations in the future,” explains Rhein-Main-Therme’s management. ■
