Niagara Takes Flight – New Flying Theater Opens at Niagara Falls

(eap) At the Table Rock Centre in the Canadian city of Niagara Falls, located directly at the Horseshoe Falls – part of the Niagara Falls river system – visitors can now experience this natural spectacle from a completely new perspective. Starting today, the new flying theater “Niagara Takes Flight” offers a simulated flight over Niagara Falls. The experience is enhanced with comprehensive storytelling about the Niagara region, its landscapes, historic sites, and people.

Niagara Takes Flight features a flight simulation in moving gondolas that glide into a 180-degree dome screen, showcasing aerial footage of the waterfalls and their surroundings. Most of the sequences were filmed with drones, capturing exciting perspectives that complement a visit to Niagara Falls and its many outdoor viewing points. Furthermore, the attraction, delivered as a turnkey project by Brogent Technologies, is intended to serve as an additional tourism offer during the winter months, when boat rides close to the falls cannot operate due to weather conditions.
