Ocean Park Hong Kong Receives Several Awards

For the fourth time in a row Ocean Park Hong Kong has been recognized with three “Yahoo! Emotive Brand Awards” this year. With these awards, the internet corporation Yahoo! recognizes companies with excellent brand values and strong emotional bonds with the people of Hong Kong. With over two million votes the local online community showed its support of the nominated companies selected from 28 industries. Ocean Park was given an award for “Top 3 Best Deals in Hong Kong”, “Top 3 Emotive Brand in the Entertainment Category” and the highest honor of the “Top 3 Emotive Brand Award in Hong Kong”. In addition, Ocean Park can be proud to be selected as the Champion (NGO category) in the “Plastic Recycling Partnership Scheme 2012”, organized by Yan Oi Tong EcoPark Plastic Resources Recycling Centre, with a total of 12.7 tons of plastic collected in the park in 2012. The plastic waste was processed into new products. (eap)
