Parque Unipraias Opens New Super Gyro Tower
(eap) Enjoy a 360-degree view from 240 meters above sea level – that’s what visitors to Brazil’s Parque Unipraias, located in the coastal city of Balneário Camboriú in the south of the country, can now experience.

The park, which already offers attractions such as a zipline, an alpine coaster, a suspended monorail, and gondola rides, has built a 53-meter-high Super Gyro Tower with a compact footprint from manufacturer Intamin at the highest point of the Morro da Aguada hill. Up to 50 people per ride can ascend in the air-conditioned cabin, which – thanks to its height and colorful design in the park’s color scheme – is visible from afar. In the evening, the tower is illuminated with LED lights.
As the cabin slowly rotates 360 degrees and features floor-to-ceiling windows, passengers can enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, the lush green surroundings of the park, and the city below. ■
