PortAventura Announces New Additions for Summer 2026
(eap) At the tourism trade fair FITUR in Madrid, which kicked off today, the Spanish PortAventura World leisure resort has announced two major additions to its visitor offering, scheduled to debut this summer at Caribe Aquatic Park and PortAventura Park. They also include what the resort describes as a “family water coaster unique in Europe.”
At the Caribe Aquatic water park, a new family area covering around 6,000 square metres is being created under the name “Coral Bay, The Lost Legend.” The zone will feature a pirate bay theme. According to the underlying storyline, this bay laid submerged for centuries and has now risen again from the ocean depths. The water coaster will be part of this area, along with an adventure pool featuring what the park says will be a “world-exclusive aquatic obstacle course”, new water slides, and a new food and beverage outlet.
The second newly announced addition for the upcoming season will be implemented in the Polynesian themed area of PortAventura Park. “Makamanu Jungle, The Adventure Trek” will invite young explorers and their companions to discover an outdoor adventure trail leading deep into the jungle. Hidden walkways, hanging bridges and various nature-integrated challenges along the route are intended to awaken the guests’ sense of adventure.
“At PortAventura World, we are committed to continuously developing our offerings to provide increasingly memorable experiences. We listen to our customers, and the new features we’re announcing for 2026 reflect our dedication to continuing to surprise them, creating unique moments for all audiences,” stated Fernando Aldecoa, General Manager of PortAventura World.
