US-American Premier Rides roller coaster manufacturer and China’s Sunac Group donated thousands of face masks to the also Baltimore-based Living Classrooms Foundation whose mission is to help communities become safer, stronger and healthier by meeting individuals, especially children, where they are and building skills for life.

In the course of the pandemic spread prevention measures the foundation has been creating and distributing age appropriate STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math) Activity Boxes with supplies and instructions that students can do at home. Each box also contains a bar of soap, packets of hand sanitizer and face masks which have been challenging for communities to obtain. Thanks to the donation, which also came from industry professional Tony Koh, many families in the Baltimore region have now received the infection preventive face coverings.

For Sunac Group, Premier Rides is currently completing a Robotic Coaster installation in Guangzhou – the new attraction is scheduled to open later this year. (eap)
