RWS Global Announces Executive Leadership Transition

(eap) RWS Global, a world leader in live experiences across entertainment and sports venues with more than 8,000 employees globally, has announced that Founder, Chairman & CEO Ryan Stana will transition to the role of Executive Chairman. Current Chief Operating Officer Jake McCoy has been appointed Interim CEO.

The change at the top management level would mark a significant milestone in the company’s growth, as it would allow Stana to focus on long-term strategy, vision and new growth areas, while McCoy will oversee day-to-day operations.

As Executive Chairman, Stana will continue to support the leadership team and work closely with McCoy to ensure continuity and sustained momentum. “Jake has been instrumental in our growth and is the right leader for RWS Global to lead the company into its next chapter […],” said Stana.

As a long-standing member of the leadership team, McCoy brings more than ten years of experience across divisions and markets. He began his career with the company as a Production Manager and played a key role in building its operational infrastructure and scaling its global footprint. In 2022, he relocated to the UK to establish RWS Global’s presence there – he will continue to be based in London. Other company locations include New York (headquarters), Orlando, Shanghai, Riyadh and Sydney.

The search for a permanent CEO is already underway and is being led by Bluestone Equity Partners, a minority investor in RWS Global.

To support the transition, Chief Financial Officer Chris Lucarz has been appointed Interim President & CFO, with expanded responsibilities for financial performance, operations and business discipline. ■
