Real Madrid World in Dubai Opens Today

(eap) Real Madrid World, the world’s first theme park centered around the Spanish football club, opens today at the Dubai Parks & Resorts (DP&R) leisure and entertainment complex. Visitors can look forward to over 40 attractions and experiences. These include the “Hala Madrid” Wooden Coaster (by Great Coasters), which is the first wooden rollercoaster in the region. The approx. 140-metre-high Star Flyer (by Funtime), which was previously part of the Bollywood theme park that was permanently closed at the same location in 2023, is also part of the experience on offer. According to DP&R, the installation is still the tallest of this ride type in the world – currently, riders can only soar through the air at similar heights on the Orlando StarFlyer^TM at ICON Park (Orlando, Florida). At the new Real Madrid World, there are also attractions such as a VR simulator, a family coaster, a walkthrough and an adventure playground. The “Bernabéu Experience”, named after the Real Madrid football stadium, is an indoor area where visitors can discover changing areas and a trophy exhibition, among other things. F&B outlets and merchandise shops complete the Real Madrid World.
