Ripley’s Acquires Hawaiian Falls Waterparks in Texas

(eap) Ripley’s Believe It or Not! World Entertainment has acquired three Hawaiian Falls outdoor waterparks in Texas. The locations in Mansfield, Roanoke, and Waco expand the company’s portfolio, which also includes the Great Wolf Lodge Waterpark & Resort in Niagara Falls, Canada. “Ripley’s Believe It or Not! World Entertainment has always been committed to creating unforgettable family fun,” said Jim Pattison, Jr., President of Ripley’s. “Bringing Hawaiian Falls into the Ripley’s family of attractions allows us to expand in one of our favorite states – Texas!”

The Hawaiian Falls parks, operated since 2017 by the ProParks Attractions Group, offer visitors attractions such as water slides, lazy rivers, wave pools, and family-friendly splash zones. “I am very confident the businesses and the teams will continue to prosper under the ownership of Ripley’s Believe It or Not! World Entertainment,” emphasized ProParks CEO John Hyltin.

Ripley’s Believe It or Not! World Entertainment, part of the Jim Pattison Group, operates more than 100 attractions in nine countries, including Ripley’s Believe It or Not! locations, Ripley’s Aquariums, Guinness World Records attractions, wax museums, miniature golf courses, and the Great Wolf Lodge Resort in Niagara Falls. With the acquisition of the Hawaiian Falls waterparks, the company further expands its range of family-friendly leisure attractions and continues to grow its international presence. ■
