Royal Beach Club Paradise Island Opens in the Bahamas
(eap) The cruise line Royal Caribbean International opened its latest exclusive destination at the end of December: the Royal Beach Club Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Covering an area of nearly 17-acre and located close to the cruise port of Nassau, the beach club offers vacationers two private beaches and three heated pools (by Martin Aquatic) as well as several food and beverage outlets with sea view.
Guests can choose between three different areas: “Party Cove℠”, “Family Beach℠” and “Chill Beach℠”. The Party Cove consists of three interconnected pools, at the center of which is the two-story “Floating Flamingo”, which Royal Caribbean describes as the world’s largest swim-up bar.
The pool at Chill Beach offers another opportunity to relax with in-water loungers and poolside cabanas, as well as an additional swim-up bar. The adjacent sandy beach is equipped with sun loungers and parasols, all of which are serviced by their own bars and snack stands. At Family Beach, a shallow pool and additional sun loungers are available, allowing children to splash around while parents soak up the sun. Here too, there is a dedicated swim-up bar offering both cocktails and mocktails.
The Royal Beach Club Paradise Island is the first in a series of destinations announced by Royal Caribbean. The Royal Beach Club Santorini in Greece is scheduled to follow in summer 2026, with the Royal Beach Club Cozumel in Mexico to open at the end of 2026. ■
