S&S Worldwide to Build Tower Rides for Wanda Group Parks

As the US-based manufacturer of roller coasters and thrill rides S&S Worldwide recently announced, the company has been commissioned to build and install two tower rides for the Chinese Wanda Group. The first ride, a 12-seat Space Shot Tower, is expected to open in March 2018 at Wuxi Wanda Park. Furthermore, a 16-seat Dual Tower Ride is scheduled to be put into operation in August 2018 at Guangzhou Wanda Park. “The tower rides will be a great addition to both parks. S&S has proven its tower technology and know that Wanda will be very pleased with the product that is delivered. S&S appreciates the great relationship that has been built over the years with Wanda. We are excited to begin these new projects and hope to continue working with the Wanda Group on their expansions throughout China,” Gerald Ryan, Executive Director of Sales and Marketing for S&S, says.

Founded in 1994, S&S has realized, according to its own statement, over 450 rides and roller coasters in 30 countries, including over 160 tower rides. (eap)
